I'm pretty excited to share with you the Chemistry System mod for The Sims 4 I've been working on! Sims 4. So I've wanted to do this mod for a long time now. Like ever since I got into modding. Anyway, enough backstory, let me tell you how it works! The Chemistry System mod is a game-changing mod for The Sims 4. Your sims will now behave differently around sims with conflicting or compatible personalities. Interactions from the Past is a mod that adds custom interactions to the game, inspired or directly converted from older games. This was a feature that many wanted for The Sims 4, and now a modder is working towards making this feature a reality. Thepancake1 (also known as Theo Jabalde), the modder who brought you The Sims 4 Multiplayer Mod is now working on a new project – the Chemistry System for The Sims 4! So I've wanted to do this mod for a long time now. Like ever since I got into modding. Anyway, enough backstory, let me tell you how it works! Sims with amazing chemistry will find it much easier to get along and romance, while sims with terrible chemistry will find it natural to be rude to each other and mostly likely become enemies.

Holy cow. I'm sure if it was done in an official capacity they'd have a more streamlined way to do it, but for an outside project, this is nuts.
Imagine having to update them all after a patch though DX. Thank goodness that I created a program that generates tests automatically based on one template file. So if EA changes anything for trait tests, I'd just have to update that one file and regenerate the tests. I'm 16 now! And yes, I did the multiplayer mod too. In fact, I'm still improving that one!

I hope it's ready for release soon though of course I understand if it'll take a while for it to be release-worthy. I'm planning to add turn-ons and turn-offs, custom trait support, and dialogue between two sims if they have good or bad chemistry. So yeah, a lot to be done! If EA had any sense at all, they would be emailing and asking you to join their team. This is crazy! We can't get newspapers or online dating from EA, but you have managed to give us Sims multiplayer and now this great chemistry system.

I feel like the people at Maxis would like to make every Sims game better then the one before,but budget and all that isn't there or what it used to be. Im also excited as to what Maxis can do with Sims 4. Even if taking small shit out makes other things better. Like teens, elders, cars motorcycles! Make a backup, the backup of the backup, and a digital backup. This is perfect for my gameplay, I usually follow matching traits as it is, this will just make it easier!
This is amazing!! I love it and I can't wait to use it in my game! I have some additional feature suggestions for you:. It looks like right now, the only two compatibility options are amazing chemistry and terrible chemistry.
It would be great to have some in between options if you don't have those already, even if it's just one or two steps so that it goes: terrible, bad, neutral, good, amazing. The neutral is important too. A config file where players can modify which traits clash and mesh with others. For instance, I imagine you made it such that cheerful and gloomy traits are opposites, but maybe in my head I think emotional people would get along well, even if the emotions they most often express are different.
These aren't criticisms by any means though, I know you just started making this and it's already incredible! Keep up the good work! On one hand, I want attraction to be something that really impacts gameplay, sims 4 chemistry system mod download, but on the other hand, I want it to be realistic.
Hmm, this is a tricky one! A config file to customize. I built my own program to generate the ish compatibilities, so all I need to do is make it easy to use. I hate this kind of comment. No modder is out here making a brand new game from scratch, or expansion packs, or whatever. To be fair he didn't say teenagers where making better games than EA. Just that the aftermarket mods and stuff packs aren't as good in his opinion as what modders are making.
You're right that making an entire game or expansion pack is more challenging than this mod. But that's all the more reason it c sh ould have come from EA and why its surprising to see it coming from a random teenager. There is the Get to School Mod Pack. Which is the Get to Work mechanics, with different text strings and tied to different objects and interactions. All of Zerbu's mods are like that. They're very good modsbut they're not new content along the same lines and quality as what the devs can give us. I haven't played it cause I don't really want or need it. Still, it's just cool. It is cool.
